New Year's Resolutions
I’ve never made any New Year’s resolutions before, so here’s my first attempt!
1. Write down all the promises I make so I can remember them.
2. Fake a smile everywhere, everyday, everytime.

This is my reality.
My mom went to the ER today, but she’s bouncing back..sort of. She’s still in a lot of pain, but she’s still alive. I realized while I was sitting at the hospital that I wouldn’t even be able to hug her even if I wanted to. Her bones are too brittle and frail now. In the past week, I kept wondering if this will be my last...

I went to Michael’s today to finally return those damned green t-shirts. The Mexican girl at my register and the other Mexican girl in the next register over kept calling each other on the phone and giggling in Spanish. I didn’t know whether to be irritated or not care. Pit Stops of December 15, 2009 in order:
1) Devin Lau’s House; his neighbor across the street has a mini zen garden complete with various buddha statues set up in his/her front yard. HOWEVER, there is a full suit of knight armor standing adjacent to the front door. Someone please explain.

In the beginning..
I debated beginning with something heartwarming or some witty quote. Of course, I also wanted something EPIC !! Then reality hit me. It’s day 3 of winter break. It’s a Monday night. I’m 21-years-old and the highlight of my night will be the Sing-Off premiere in 15 minutes.
